To all the fathers who felt helpless throughout pregnancy, changed dirty diapers, raspberried bellies, slept next to a wriggling toddler, disciplined even when they didn’t want to, attended performances and sporting events, went outside and played, stayed strong during a time of crisis, taught a life skill, gave sound advice that fell on deaf ears, planned for the future, missed the ruckus when the child moved away, wiped away a tear quickly before anyone could see, and loved their child from now until the end of time, I salute you.

P.S. Love you, Dad!
