Huzzah!  It’s been nearly a year since we created Fellowstream, and we’ve spent our time adding tons of features like the Inbox and File Attachments.  With all the feedback we’ve received, we believe Fellowstream is finally ready to hit the marketplace as a fully realized subscription service.

Coming out of beta means that some accounts will require a monthly fee starting January 16, 2011.  We took a lot of time deciding how to structure our pricing.  We wanted to be affordable to small teams and offer a robust free trial.  Approximately 1/3 of our customers now  fall into our Basic plan ($9/month) or Pro plan ($29/month) categories.

See the chart below for more details:

NOTE: Not all Fellowstream accounts require a subscription fee. We kept a continual free plan because we want to give teams a timeless trial free version to try out our product.  As you can see above, if you have 1-2 people and 1 project, you can continue using Fellowstream for free.  We will allow you to keep any files you have uploaded into your account, but will not allow you to upload new files once the changes take affect.

How can I upgrade to a paid plan?

If you already have a Fellowstream account, upgrading to a paid plan is easy!  Simply log into your Fellowstream account as the admin and follow these steps:

  1. Click “Account” in the upper right hand corner and choose “Account Administration.”
  2. Choose either a “Basic” or “Pro” upgrade under “Billing Details.”
  3. Enter your credit card information, click the acceptance agreement, and choose “Please Upgrade my Account.”

For more information on upgrading an account, please read our Upgrading and Downgrading FAQ.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: info@fellowstream.com.  We want to make this transition as smooth as possible and we can be available to listen to any feedback you have about these changes.

Thanks also for making Fellowstream a success so far!  We couldn’t have made it this far without the support of our customers.
